Ballinderreen NS takes part in the Hot School Meals Scheme, a national programme that provides every child with a free, nutritious hot lunch each school day. The aim of the scheme is to ensure that all pupils have access to a healthy meal to support their wellbeing, concentration, and learning.
Our hot meals are freshly prepared and delivered daily by our school meal supplier, Gourmet Kids (Cappercullen Foods Ltd.). Families can pre-select meals online from a varied menu, which includes options to suit different tastes and dietary requirements. Meals are served to children in school and enjoyed together at lunchtime, helping to create a positive and inclusive mealtime experience.
