Third Class finished our SESE unit on Vikings with group projects and by making Viking longships in Art. The children did a lot of work to prepare their projects and they were all so confident and articulate when making presentations to the class. For the longships, the children first drew a plan, incorporating all of the features we had learned about in class. Then, they worked hard to bring their plan to life. Everyone did an amazing job and they are very proud of their hard work. We also enjoyed an afternoon, learning how to play the Viking board game hnefatafl.
